Terra means the earth. Amsh means the little part of the thing or here it means extract of the earth

We make product extracted from the earth to diffuse back to the earth. The fading circle in the logo mobilized the thought of disseminating the same resources back to the earth. Flowers and leaves establish the thought of flora and in fact, symbolize the extracts of earth. Blue and green are iconic colors of nature. Some of the precious stones dated back are blue and the most expensive pigments of nature are also blue. Green is again the most relaxing color and it reason why looking at nature is therapeutic.

  • The feeling

Terraamsh is derived primarily from the words terra& amsh. Terra means earth and amsh simply means a portion. The word terraamsh is close to my heart because the upper cases M & S scream my parent's name, Madhu & Shela . I went all in for a month with all my heart to get to this exceptional name.

  • Our idea

Terraamsh is all about taking portions from the earth to make fashion. We make colors out of used flowers from events & templates Terraamsh believes in making fashion that is able to disintegrate into the earth. We wish to shift the behavior of fashion consumers to become sustainably conscious consumers.

Terraamsh Story

"The idea of Terraamsh was born when I was pregnant with my twins."

I was very particular about maternity wear. There was no organic and sustainable option available at that time, and many resources felt manipulated and unsafe. My idea was to create harmonious fashion that was also reciprocal. We established the brand first in the pre- and post-maternity range while slowly building our expertise in fashion for ages 24-40. Terraamsh is about making someone feel better about themselves through fashion — feeling powerful, graceful, and happy.

Kala Cotton is indigenous to Kachchh, organic, and one of the genetically pure cotton species in India.

"Terraamsh is conscious of Global Organic Textile Standards."

Organic cotton is grown using methods that have minimal impact on the environment. Terraamsh follows the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which provides ecological and social criteria, backed by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. Our natural dyes are unapologetically made from plants, insects, leaves, and flowers. Five hundred species of plants produce colors like indigo and brown, and these extracts are concentrated powders or liquids. Colors at Terraamsh are more than just aesthetic — they carry value, meaning, and environmental respect.

I learned eco-printing techniques from friends in Japan, Indonesia, and Russia, and applied this knowledge to pre- and post-maternity clothing. Pregnancy changes a woman's body, and I wanted to make new mothers feel at ease with natural, safe, and organic outfits. Over the years, our expertise ensures safety, sustainability, and a conscious connection to fashion, starting with young mothers.
